lyrics
This past years been sent signing guestbooks
And saying prayers I’m not sure I believe
Nervous they’ll notice I’m wearing the same shirt
As the last time
Because grieving’s become routine
So come down now off your cross
And give those mothers their sons back
It seems like every heart I know is broken
Now I spend all my time
Worried if everyone’s got enough to eat
Because these days it seems like the only place
We can afford to live
Is on out on the street
I miss the bliss of nihilism
And being young enough to make it work
But it feels nice just to care about anything at all

very well orchestrated & written post-punk album. a little rough around the edges, but looses something as the songs tend to drift a bit. pretty good first outing tho :) tinman73
